“Supporting individuals with disabilities to live meaningful lives.”

For over 50 years, Pleasant View, Inc. has created opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive, with meaningful work, relationships and spiritual growth. Their static HTML website no longer reflected that work or met their needs.

What they needed

The old site was dated, hard to update and had no interactive features. Pleasant View needed a site that:

  • Non-technical staff could update.
  • Included a careers portal, an inquiry process and an event calendar.
  • Put participants’ voices and experiences front and center.

Easy updates

We built custom post types and dynamic templates for jobs, events and newsletters. Adding a job posting or an event is as simple as filling out a form.

Elementor training

The site uses Elementor templates, and we trained the team to use them. They control their own content, and the design stays consistent.

Participants first

The site features the people Pleasant View serves through photos and stories, keeping the community at the center.

Built-in features

  • Careers portal: job listings to help them recruit staff who support the mission.
  • Participant inquiry form: a clear first step for people interested in joining their programs.
  • Event calendar: keeps families and supporters up to date.

The result

The new site is modern and accessible. Staff can make updates themselves, the design highlights the people at the heart of the mission, and supporters have simple ways to get involved and stay connected.
