Offshore Marine & Outdoors is a family-owned marine and outdoor business on Lake Martin in Eclectic, Alabama. They had a static HTML website that was dated and hard to navigate, and they were ready for a site that could do more of the work for them.
What the old site couldn’t do
The static site couldn’t:
- Show their full range of products and services.
- Handle work orders.
- Connect to Facebook Marketplace for boat sales.
- Bring in new customers through search.
The logo
Their logo existed only as a raster image. We vectorized it, keeping the design people already recognize while making it sharp at any size, on screen and in print.
The website
We rebuilt the site in WordPress around their marine products, outdoor services and expertise, with photography of Lake Martin throughout.
Work orders
We built a work order form and management system. Customers submit service requests online, and staff can track each request through to completion.
Facebook Marketplace
We connected the site to Facebook Marketplace so their used boat listings reach a wider audience.
Local search
We optimized the site for local search, targeting terms around Lake Martin, Eclectic, Alabama and outdoor recreation, so people planning time on the lake can find them.
