About the festival

The Greenville Jewish Film Festival (GJFF) is a nonprofit that brings Jewish stories to Greenville, SC through film. Its screenings offer education, inspiration, and cultural exchange, showing both what is distinct about Jewish heritage and what it shares with everyone else. The goal is to entertain while building connection between the Jewish community and the wider public.

What they needed

GJFF’s website worked, but it didn’t hold together as a brand and wasn’t built around how the festival actually runs. They needed:

  • Ticket sales that are simple for attendees and easy for staff to manage.
  • An archive of past events and programming.
  • A clear path for donors.
  • Marketing that looks consistent across the web, social media, email, and print.

A ticketing site built on WooCommerce

We built a custom e-commerce site on WordPress and WooCommerce with ticket sales as its main job. Event pages pair the purchase with what makes people want to come: imagery, film trailers, and event details. Navigation stays simple so attendees can get from a film to a ticket quickly.

An event archive

Past festivals and screenings live in an event archive. It keeps a record of the festival’s programming and gives new visitors a sense of what GJFF has brought to Greenville over the years.

Marketing assets that match

To keep the brand consistent, we designed a set of creative assets: social media graphics, posters, and ads for use online and around town. We also created email campaigns to sell tickets and keep in touch with donors.

The result

GJFF now has one platform that sells tickets, keeps its history, and supports donors, plus marketing that looks like it comes from the same organization everywhere it appears. The festival’s mission comes through in the design, and the operations behind it are simpler to run.

Ticket sales, donations, and the tools behind them are part of our systems and integrations work.
