Starting the brand
Branding for Redeeming Grace Ministries started with a conversation with the founder about the ministry’s needs and vision. From there we created several logo options so the client had real choices.
The requirements were clear: a blue, green and teal color scheme, and a script font with long, flowing characters.
Choosing the leaf
The client chose the leaf design, which represents the new life the ministry offers. To tighten the design, we combined the wording with the circular shape of the logo. We then tried different color and texture treatments to see which best matched the client’s view of the ministry.
The client chose a gradient color scheme and a plant with a full set of leaves, to show the fullness of life that’s possible in recovery.
The website
The main purpose of the website is to give donors a place to learn about the ministry’s mission: helping women who are struggling with substance use disorders. We used photos that show the kind of women the ministry serves, alongside clear copy about what the organization does.
The site carries the hope behind the mission, with bright colors and warm, inviting images. It’s fully responsive and built in WordPress on a customized theme.
Performance
When we wrote this case study, the site scored 84 on Google PageSpeed Insights, so pages load quickly and visitors aren’t left waiting.
Our part
We were glad to be part of this work. A recovery ministry needs to be easy to find and easy to trust, and that is what the brand and website are built to do.
If your organization needs a brand and website people can trust, tell us about it.
