About the rescue
Lake Martin Animal Rescue helps abused and neglected animals in the Lake Martin area. The nonprofit reunites lost pets with their families, rehabilitates animals for adoption, and gives pet owners resources to care for their animals. Their message is simple: “All animals deserve a home.”
When Jennie Zinn came to us, the rescue’s website and branding weren’t keeping up with the work.
The problem
The old site was built in static HTML and filled with third-party ads that pulled attention away from the animals. The founder wanted:
- A modern logo and brand identity.
- A website that puts the animals first.
- A clean, ad-free site aimed at the local Lake Martin community.
The logo
We designed a logo with playful animal silhouettes set against Lake Martin. It ties the rescue’s mission, connecting people and animals, to the place it serves.
The website
The new WordPress site leads with photos of rescued animals and makes the next step obvious, with clear calls to action to:

- Foster
- Donate
- Volunteer
Navigation is simple, so visitors find what they came for.
Built for the rescue’s work
Beyond the design, the site gives the rescue tools it uses every day:
